Love for a Lifetime Premarital Program

The Love for a Lifetime Premarital Program is a values-clarification

and goal-setting process that results in the couple having a very clear idea of their strengths and limitations. The goal of the program is to help couples develop and maintain a strong marriage. The program is designed to help a couple get their marriage off to a great start and motivate them to continue to develop a strong marriage.

It is probably no coincidence that 50% of all marriages end in divorce and that a very small percentage of people who marry complete any kind of pre-marriage education or counseling process.  A structured process of education and exploration is critical to the long-term success of a marriage—simply because it prepares partners for their many years together and eliminates many of the inevitable surprises that people encounter.

This process enables couples to:



• Get to know each other better
• Learn where they differ
• Learn important skills
• Anticipate areas of conflict and develop plans to manage problems

Goals of the Program:

2. To learn assertiveness and active listening skills
3. To learn how to resolve conflict using the Ten Step Model
4. To help the couple discuss their Family-of-Origin
5. To help the couple with financial planning and budget
6. To focus on personal, couple and family goals

The Love for a Lifetime Premarital Program is one of the greatest investments in your future as a happily married couple. 

It is a (4) week program consisting of a 2-hour couple session per week. The program includes taking the PREPARE premarital inventory and receiving feedback using couple exercises. The fee is $395.00 (plus $35 survey fee). Cash, check, or credit card accepted. Payment can be made in one or two installments to suit your personal budget.

 New Day Counseling has licensed and certified professional counselors who specialize in working with individuals, couples and families. Our counselors have years of experience in a variety of capacities-- couples, family and group therapy, outpatient individual including children and teens.
